In LEGO City you can play with the dream of your very own launch pad and a journey around the Earth… and why not also establish your own moon base? Or who knows – maybe you can become the first LEGO man to set foot on Mars? LEGO launched in 2011 a series of LEGO City sets with space as the common theme. These were the first sets in the LEGO City series dealing with space. The sets were developed alongside the American space agency NASA’s educational program. The LEGO sets are said to have a realistic design, adapted so they fit into the LEGO City environment. There are several LEGO City sets with a space theme, including your own LEGO City space shuttle – and your own moon rover. The largest set in the series is 3368 – space center with 494 bricks and 4 minifigures.
