Which suitcase should you choose?

When choosing the right suitcase, there are several factors to consider. First and foremost, the choice depends on how long you'll be away and how much luggage you need. The illustration below shows our recommendations for which suitcase size you should choose depending on how long you'll be on the move. Of course, there are several factors that can influence the choice — for example, if the whole family is going, a luggage set can be advantageous in many ways; you can share space between the different suitcases, and you also get a nice cabin suitcase which in most cases can be taken into the airplane cabin.
If you're going on a shorter trip, a carry-on suitcase is ideal. A cabin suitcase is easy to transport and can be taken into the aircraft cabin, which gives peace of mind and makes it easy to store your most necessary belongings. For longer trips a large suitcase is recommended so you have plenty of space for all your clothes and other items. If you're considering travelling as a family, a luggage set can be an advantage as it allows you to distribute luggage between several sizes.

Guide to suitcase sizes – find the right size for your trip

When choosing a suitcase, size is an important factor. Generally, suitcases come in three primary sizes:

• Cabin suitcase (carry-on), 0-59 L: Perfect for short trips of 1-3 days. This suitcase size typically complies with airlines' hand luggage rules, so you can take it on board.
• Medium suitcase, 60-99 L: Ideal for trips of 4-7 days. This size gives extra space for clothes and personal items without being too heavy to transport.
• Large suitcase, over 100 L: Suitable for longer holidays or family use. With a large suitcase you have plenty of space for everything you need, including souvenirs and extra travel accessories.

Suitcases and functionality

All our lightweight suitcases are equipped with practical features that make travel more comfortable. They have 4 swivel wheels with 360° rotation for easy maneuvering and a telescopic handle that can be adjusted in height. Inside, our hardcase suitcases are divided into two functional compartments. One compartment has a zip closure to prevent loose items such as shoes, toiletries and books from rolling around the suitcase.
