Silk is measured in momme weight, which indicates the silk's quality and durability. The higher the momme weight, the better the quality. A momme weight of 19 is ideal and suitable for producing high-quality silk sheets. A topper fitted sheet is used exclusively for the bed's topper mattress (fits a topper with a thickness of 4-8 cm). It is important to buy a topper fitted sheet in the correct size and quality so it does not shrink or become misshapen after washing. The silk sheet adapts to the body's temperature, is moisture-absorbing, antibacterial and allergy-friendly. It is very suitable for sensitive/delicate skin due to its fine and smooth surface. Silk sheets can be washed at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle and with enzyme-free detergent. It is a fine, smooth and lightweight sheet, and therefore cannot be tumble dried but must be air dried.
