Silk sheets from Butterfly Silk are made from the finest mulberry silk, in a strong silk satin quality with a high momme of 19.
Silk is measured in momme weight, which is an expression of the silk's quality and durability. The higher the momme weight, the better the quality.
A momme weight of 19 is ideal and suitable for the manufacture of high-quality silk sheets. A Topper fitted sheet is used exclusively for the bed's mattress topper (fits a mattress topper with a thickness of 4-8 cm). It is important to purchase a Topper fitted sheet in the correct size and quality so it does not shrink or become misshapen after washing.

The silk sheet adapts to the body's temperature, is moisture-absorbing, antibacterial and allergy-friendly. It is very suitable for delicate/sensitive skin due to the fine and smooth surface. Silk sheets can be washed at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle and with enzyme-free detergent. It is a fine, smooth and lightweight sheet, and therefore cannot tolerate tumble drying, but should be air-dried.

We recommend using a mattress protector under the sheet to best protect the mattress.
