This duvet is a hypoallergenic musk down duvet with airy, voluminous down embraced by wonderfully soft cotton. The filling is 100% white European musk down and has a fill power of 800 cuin or over 12 if using the old measurement method.
Musk down resembles the very exclusive eiderdown and has excellent insulating properties. The duvet's shell is made of 100% jacquard-woven hypoallergenic cotton. The shell is so tightly woven that dust mites cannot penetrate it. The duvet is constructed with boxes and channel walls. It is sewn into boxes so the filling remains evenly distributed. The special box system works by having each box's outer edge contain musk down with high fill power, which gives the duvet good insulation. In the center of the box there is a sewn-through 'panel'. The panel creates careful ventilation and helps transport heat and moisture away from the body. This construction of the boxes thus creates a circulation of heat and ventilation. The duvet therefore has a uniquely ventilating construction. The channel walls ensure that the down insulates without cold bridges. The entire construction of the duvet therefore results in even heat distribution and a comfortable sleeping experience every night.
The duvet can be washed at 60 degrees; however it is important to use an enzyme-free detergent, and it can also be tumble dried with dryer balls.
The duvets are hypoallergenic and are labeled with NOMITE and Downafresh. In addition, it is certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, the world's leading health label for textiles. The duvet is produced in Denmark.
