Danish produced duvets
When you choose a Danish-produced duvet, you get a duvet where there is focus on good materials, careful workmanship and long durability. Many Danish duvets are made with great knowledge of Nordic sleeping habits, changing seasons and the need for a duvet that can feel light, comfortable and cozy night after night.
Danish production also makes it easier to ensure consistent quality, because production takes place closer by. This gives better control of materials, seams, fill distribution and the overall comfort of the duvet. For you, it means that you can more easily find a duvet that matches your warmth needs, your body and your sleeping environment.
At HOME-TEX.com you will find a wide selection of Danish-produced duvets in different qualities, sizes and warmth levels. Whether you are looking for a light summer duvet, a cozy All-season duvet or an extra warm winter duvet, you can find a Danish-produced duvet created with consideration for both comfort, quality and everyday use.

About the different duvet types
Fibre duvets are practical duvets that are often easy to maintain and wash. They are a popular choice for those who want an affordable duvet with good everyday comfort. Fibre duvets come in many variants and warmth levels, so they can be used by both children and adults. They are often a good choice for the guest room, summer house or home where the duvet should be easy to keep fresh. Many fibre duvets dry quickly after washing and retain a stable fill, which makes them practical in a busy everyday life. They suit those who want a functional duvet at a good price.
Musk ox down duvets have a soft and light fill that gives a pleasant and enveloping sensation. They are suitable for those who want a quality duvet with good insulating ability. Musk ox down is known for its lightness and ability to create a warm duvet without feeling heavy. This makes musk ox down duvets a popular choice for those who want a duvet with natural fill and a soft comfort. The duvet can be used year-round depending on warmth level and personal need. It is especially good for those who want a duvet that feels airy but still provides comforting warmth.
Goose down duvets are known for their exclusive lightness and high loft. They provide a luxurious sleeping experience and are ideal if you want extra comfort. Goose down has a natural ability to insulate effectively while the duvet remains light and comfortable. Therefore goose down duvets are often an obvious choice for those who want to invest in a duvet with high comfort and long durability. They come in different warmth levels so you can choose a model that fits your bedroom and body temperature. A goose down duvet is for those who want a soft, airy and exclusive duvet.
Eiderdown duvets belong among the most exclusive duvets with a natural, light and insulating fill. They are for those who want a duvet in absolute top class focusing not only on luxury but also on quality. Eiderdown is a rare and sought-after natural material that provides a very special lightness and insulation. An eiderdown duvet feels almost weightless but can still give pleasant and stable warmth. This makes it ideal for those who want the very best in sleep comfort. The duvet is not just a practical choice but an investment in a luxurious sleep experience where materials, craftsmanship and comfort come together in a higher unity.
Silk duvets are temperature-regulating and moisture-wicking, which makes them comfortable year-round. They are particularly good if you want a light, smooth and allergy-friendly duvet. Silk has natural properties that help draw moisture away from the body so the duvet feels fresh and comfortable throughout the night. This makes silk duvets popular if you often get warm or experience changing temperatures during the night. A silk duvet falls softly around the body without feeling heavy, and the smooth structure gives an exclusive feel. It is a duvet that combines comfort, lightness and creates a pleasant sleeping environment.
Bamboo duvets feel soft and comfortable against the body and have good breathable properties. If you want a duvet focusing on comfort, freshness and natural lightness, a bamboo duvet is the perfect choice. Bamboo is known for its soft surface and ability to feel pleasant in contact with the skin. If you get warm at night, a bamboo duvet is a good solution as the material often feels light and airy. It can also be relevant if you want an alternative to more traditional duvets. Bamboo duvets fit well into a bedroom where you want a fresh, calm and comfortable sleeping experience.
Weighted duvets give a heavier and more enveloping feeling than regular duvets. Choose this duvet if you want a calmer and more secure feeling when you lie in bed. A weighted duvet distributes weight evenly over the body and can provide a firmer and soothing sensation. It differs from classic duvets by not primarily being about lightness but about the comfort that the weight can give. Therefore many choose weighted duvets as part of a calm evening routine. It is important to choose a weight that matches your body weight so the duvet feels comfortable and not too heavy.
Danish duvets are produced with focus on high quality, good materials and responsible production conditions. Danish duvets are often developed with knowledge of Nordic sleeping habits, changing seasons and the need for good comfort all year. Local production makes it possible to focus on quality, workmanship and material choices. For you this means a duvet designed with both function and durability in mind. Danish duvets come in several materials and warmth levels so you can find a model that suits your needs.
Organic duvets have extra focus on materials. They provide good comfort and fit well into a bedroom where natural choices are valued highly. An organic duvet is for those who want to prioritize materials chosen with greater consideration. At the same time you do not have to compromise on comfort, as organic duvets come in soft and pleasant qualities. They suit both adults and children where the sleeping environment should feel clean, calm and safe. It is a duvet type for those who want to combine comfort with more conscious choices.
Allergy-friendly duvets are developed with a desire for a more hygienic and comfortable sleeping environment. They can be a good choice if you are sensitive to dust, house dust mites or materials in the bed. Allergy-friendly duvets come in several materials so you can choose the type that best suits your needs. For many, the choice is about creating a bed that feels fresh, clean and pleasant to sleep in each night. It can also be an advantage to choose a duvet that is easy to maintain so you can more easily keep the sleeping environment clean. An allergy-friendly duvet is therefore a practical and comfortable everyday choice.
Wool duvets have natural temperature-regulating properties and can help keep the body comfortably tempered. They are suitable if you want a duvet with natural fill and good moisture management. Wool can both warm and ventilate, which makes wool duvets relevant for several seasons. They can feel cozy without becoming too tight, because the material naturally helps regulate moisture and temperature. Buy a wool duvet if you want a more natural sleep comfort.
Kapok duvets are light duvets with natural plant-based fill that feel airy and comfortable and give a natural sleeping experience. Kapok is a light natural material that often feels airy and dry in use. A kapok duvet can therefore be a good choice if you want a duvet that does not feel heavy or compact and gives a more natural base and a comfortable feeling night after night.
Wadded blankets are light and versatile blankets that can be used as a cooler alternative to a classic duvet. They are especially practical in summer, on the sofa or as an extra blanket in the bedroom. A wadded blanket can provide a more relaxed and flexible solution when you do not need a heavy duvet. It is easy to use in several rooms and can quickly be placed over the bed for a cozy look. Many also use wadded blankets as an extra layer on cold evenings or as a light blanket during the summer period.
Choose duvet by season and warmth needs
Many also choose to have several duvets so the duvet can be changed with the seasons. In this way you get a duvet that matches the temperature in the bedroom and provides the best conditions for a comfortable night's sleep. At HOME-TEX.com you will find duvets in several warmth levels, materials and sizes so you can easily find the model that suits your needs best.
Materials that have great impact on your comfort
The duvet's cover also matters. A quality cotton cover gives a pleasant and breathable surface, while modern materials can help transport excess heat and moisture away from the body. Therefore it is an advantage to look at the duvet's overall construction and not just the fill type.
Baby and junior duvets
When choosing a duvet for your child, it is important to find a model that fits both age, size and the child's individual sleep needs. A baby duvet at 70x100 cm is suitable for the first years, while a junior duvet at 100x140 cm gives better freedom of movement as the child grows.
At HOME-TEX.com you will find both baby and junior duvets with different types of fill, including down, fibre, bamboo, silk, kapok and wool. Whether you want a light summer duvet, a cozy All-season duvet or an allergy-friendly solution, you can find a duvet that gives the child a comfortable and safe sleeping environment. With the right duvet the child gets the best conditions for a peaceful night's sleep and a good start to the day.

Duvet sizes
When investing in a new duvet, it is important to choose the right duvet size. When choosing your duvet size you should take your height as a starting point - We recommend for example duvets with extra length 140x220cm for a height of 170cm and above - But of course it is also a matter of taste. If you have two or more duvets using matching bedding, it can be recommended to choose two duvets in the same size. This simplifies the process of finding bedding and makes it easier to change it. If you are two sleeping together, it can be recommended to buy a double duvet. These come in several sizes and can therefore easily be adapted to your combined needs.Below we briefly describe the individual duvet sizes and at the same time link to our large selection of lovely quality duvets.
- 70x100 cm - Is the standard size for baby duvets. The size fits well for the cot and the first years where the child needs a smaller duvet that feels safe and manageable.
- 100x140 cm - Is the standard size for junior duvets. A junior duvet is the next natural step when the baby duvet becomes too small but an adult duvet is still too big.
- 140x200 cm - Is a standard single duvet size. It is the most common size sold on the Danish market. See the selection of lovely single duvets in this size.
- 140x220 cm - Is a standard extra long duvet. With its extra 20 centimetres it is ideal if you measure 1.70m or above. We experience growing demand for extra long duvets, especially men choose an extra long duvet as they are often taller.
- 200x200 cm - Square double duvet. However most choose to invest in a slightly larger double duvet as you are often two under the duvet and therefore have to meet several different needs and wishes.
- 200x220 cm - Double duvet with extra length. This is the most preferred double duvet on the market. This size is fantastic to sleep with, whether you sleep alone or two under the duvet. The size has the same advantage as a single with extra length. If you measure 1.70m or above this double duvet size is optimal for you.
Special sizes
- 150x210 cm - A single duvet in Swedish size. A bit wider and longer than a typical Danish standard size.
- 240x220 cm - Called kingsize double duvet. These are increasing in demand. Many want an extra large duvet if they sleep in a very large bed or sleep two under the duvet and still want room for cuddling. This size also looks great on the bed when made and can create a very exclusive look for the interior.
At HOME-TEX.com you will always find a wide selection of quality duvets at competitive prices. Whether you are looking for a light summer duvet, a warm winter duvet or an allergy-friendly duvet, we have the right solution for you.
