A weighted duvet like this is produced to create greater bodily calm for those where it does not always come naturally. The duvet is filled with tiny and very fine glass beads, which give the duvet its weight and heaviness. This weight creates a sense of security for the body and nervous system, thereby giving the body a better opportunity to relax. Some use the weighted duvet every day all night, others use it in periods or only to fall asleep.

This weight duvet with a soft cover is an upgrade to your night's sleep and calm if you have difficulty sleeping in the evening or perhaps experience that you often wake up during the night. Here the duvet can help your body find calm and give your mind the opportunity to pause bodily activity. How much the duvet should weigh to create a good basis for the highest comfort and calm is very individual, therefore the weighted duvets come in different weight classes and sizes.

The duvet should not be used by people with low body weight, small children or pregnant women. The duvet must not be used by children under 3 years. We recommend that you choose a weighted duvet that corresponds to around 10% of your body weight. If you have more difficulty turning during the night, then choose a weighted duvet that is slightly under 10%.

Function of the duvet:
The weight from the glass bead duvet stimulates the body's nervous system and thereby calms the body and mind, so it is easier to settle down.
