A weighted duvet like this is produced to create greater bodily calm for those for whom it does not always come naturally. The duvet is filled with tiny, very fine glass beads, which give the duvet its weight. This weight creates a sense of security for the body and nervous system, thereby giving the body a better opportunity to relax. Some people use the weighted duvet every night all night, others use it in periods or only to fall asleep.

This weighted duvet with a soft shell is an upgrade to your nighttime sleep and calm if you have difficulty sleeping in the evening or perhaps find that you often wake during the night. The duvet can help your body find calm and give your mind the opportunity to pause bodily activity. How much the duvet should weigh to create a good basis for maximum comfort and calm is very individual, which is why the weighted duvets are available in different weight classes and sizes.

The duvet should not be used by people with low body weight, small children or pregnant women. The duvet must not be used by children under 3 years. We recommend that you choose a weighted duvet that corresponds to around 10% of your body weight. If you have difficulty turning at night, choose a weighted duvet that is slightly under 10%.

Function of the duvet:
The weight from the glass bead duvet stimulates the body's nervous system and thereby calms the body and mind, making it easier to settle. For many, it can be a major challenge to get the body down in gear in the evening, and the thoughts as well. This duvet is produced to address precisely this challenge.
