The double silk duvet is produced with 100% mulberry silk filling and a tightly woven cotton satin cover. The fine silk filling is distributed in a baffle box construction for even distribution of insulation and warmth. This also prevents the filling from moving around in the duvet or ending up at one end. Silk usually does not require washing, but has a great advantage in being aired, only in the shade and preferably in colder weather. Airing reactivates the natural properties of the silk and self-cleans, so you get a duvet that feels new for a long time. The silk duvet is somewhat flatter in structure than down duvets; therefore there will be a difference in how the duvet feels to have on. It is often an advantage for many that the duvet has a slightly higher weight and is more quiet.
