The silk duvet is produced with 100% mulberry silk fill and a tightly woven cotton satin cover. The fine silk fill is distributed in a cassette construction for an even distribution of insulation and warmth. This also prevents the fill from moving around in the duvet or ending up at one end. Silk usually does not require washing, but benefits greatly from airing — only in the shade and preferably in cooler weather. Airing reactivates the natural properties of the silk and self-cleans it, so you get a duvet that feels new for a long time. The silk duvet is somewhat flatter in structure than down duvets, so there will be a difference in how the duvet feels when in use. However, this is often an advantage for many, as the duvet has a slightly higher weight and is more low-noise.
