This 8 cm mattress topper has a pressure-relieving memory foam core that molds to your body and weight, which helps increase blood circulation during sleep and gives you the best rest as well as support for the whole body. The topper follows the natural curve of the spine and provides optimal support for the back, neck and shoulders. The soft topper feels both luxuriously soft (the cover) and suitably firm (the foam), which together give you high comfort so you can feel comfortable all night long.

NASA memory foam topper features:

Pressure-relieving - molds to your body for optimal support and sleeping comfort
Distributes your body weight and reduces pressure points that can lead to restless sleep.
Allergy-friendly bamboo cover

NASA memory foam is a very special material. This foam type has a unique cell structure so air can circulate and the foam can mold to the body. Memory foam is also known to be particularly relaxing for muscles and joints and can help alleviate pain in these areas. The cover is sewn from a combination of 40% bamboo and 60% polyester, which makes the topper feel less warm, is antibacterial and easy to maintain. In addition, it has better ventilation than other toppers on the market thanks to the special 3D mesh edge.

We always recommend using a mattress protector on top of your mattress/topper, as it protects against moisture and sweat, ensures that your topper remains clean and neat and ensures a high level of hygiene.

Maintenance: It is recommended to turn the mattress topper so the head and foot ends are rotated regularly. It is recommended to do this 4 times a year to get the highest benefit from the mattress's lifespan and comfort.
(When the topper is unpacked it can take up to 72 hours before the topper reaches its full size and you have the full effect of the comfort)

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

What is NASA memory foam?

NASA memory foam, also known as viscoelastic foam, is a temperature-sensitive material that was originally developed in the 1960s for NASA's space program to absorb shocks and protect astronauts. Today the material is often used in mattress toppers, mattresses and pillows because it softens with body heat and precisely molds to the body. It provides comfortable, pressure-relieving and enveloping sleeping comfort.

Why choose a mattress topper with NASA memory foam?

A mattress topper with NASA memory foam is a good choice for those who want a soft, contouring and pressure-relieving sleeping surface. The foam adapts to the body and can help reduce pressure points at the shoulders, hips and back.

Is NASA memory foam firm or soft?

NASA memory foam usually feels soft and contouring. You sink more into the material than, for example, latex, and it provides a comfortable, enveloping sensation. However, comfort also depends on the topper's thickness, foam quality and cover.

What is the difference between NASA memory foam and regular memory foam?

NASA memory foam and regular memory foam are very similar, as both are viscoelastic foam types that mold according to the body's weight and heat. Regular memory foam can vary more in quality, firmness and elasticity, while NASA memory foam is typically associated with a more enveloping, supportive and body-hugging sleeping comfort.

How thick should a memory foam mattress topper be?

The thickness depends on how much comfort and pressure relief you want. A thinner topper can provide a slight comfort improvement, while a thicker memory foam topper often provides a more noticeable, soft and enveloping sleeping experience.
