Junior PillowsA junior pillow measures 40x45 cm but comes with different fill amounts. If your child still sleeps on their back, we recommend choosing a flat pillow, whereas if the child primarily sleeps on their side, they need a slightly fuller pillow so that the neck is supported in a straight curve down along the back. 50026 |
Pillow for your child
Junior pillows are typically smaller and flatter than regular pillows. The pillows are made of soft and breathable materials to protect the delicate skin on the child's face and head. It is important to choose a safe and appropriate junior pillow that suits the child's age and sleeping needs.Choosing a children's pillow
When choosing a pillow for your little child, it is important that the pillow is low, whether it is a pillow for a baby or junior. In principle, babies do not need a pillow, but many still choose to use a pillow for the little child, which also makes sense, as a pillow protects the mattress in prams, cradles, strollers, and beds. Here it is especially important to choose as flat a pillow as possible.Silk pillow
Silk pillows are some of the most popular children's pillows, as they are very soft and a bit flatter than, for example, bamboo pillows, and silk pillows generally have good adaptability. Silk is temperature-regulating, antibacterial, self-cleaning, and highly allergy-friendly. This means the child gets a more hygienic and comfortable sleeping environment. The fact that silk is temperature-regulating makes the pillow an obvious choice if the child tends to sweat while sleeping.Bamboo pillow
A soft and lovely children's pillow focusing on high quality and comfort. Bamboo pillows are some of the softest children's pillows on the market, very soft and well-filled. Due to many natural properties, bamboo pillows are both temperature-regulating and allergy-friendly. A bamboo pillow is an obvious choice as a junior pillow. Being temperature-regulating means it can dissipate excess heat if the child is warm but also retain heat if it is cool – providing a pillow with good adaptability.Down pillow
A down pillow can advantageously be used by both babies and juniors, but be aware of the fill weight, as it indicates how high/flat the children's pillow is. The lower the fill weight, the flatter the pillow. Down pillows can sometimes feel more flexible and often provide a better "cuddle effect" than other pillows, and they have very good insulation, meaning they retain heat, which can be an advantage in winter when out in a stroller.
