Eiderdown duvet - The world’s most luxurious duvet for those who only want the best.

This luxury down duvet consists of 100% Icelandic eiderdown. The cover of this lovely duvet consists of the finest cashmere wool and an incredibly fine cotton that together form the frame for this fantastic eiderdown duvet. The small fine eiderdown clusters cling to each other so they do not separate, which helps create the incredible high fill power and fantastic insulation ability.

Eiderdown is the type of down with the highest fill power/cu.in, corresponding to 16/1100. The higher the fill power, the finer the down used, and nothing is higher than eiderdown. This also makes eiderdown the warmest and at the same time the lightest raw material in the world.

The down comes from eider ducks living on the cliffs of Iceland, and the down is collected by hand. The eider duck lives in the wild and in limited areas, which makes the amount of eiderdown much more limited than other types of down. The small fine down clusters are collected from nests after the ducklings have flown. The down left in the nests is the amount of eiderdown collected, dried, and cleaned by hand using a down harp. This is craftsmanship at its best.

For those who have not yet experienced an eiderdown duvet - stretch out both hands with palms up and eyes closed. A 'ball' of eiderdown is placed in one hand. You still have your eyes closed and cannot feel which hand the 'ball' was placed in. After a few seconds, you can feel your palm getting warmer in one hand - this is the effect of eiderdown - incredible insulation ability and at the same time so light that you could not feel which hand the down was placed in.
- Imagine what an incredible duvet it would be to sleep with.
